Online classes for children & teenagers
Starting in January, AvaLingua will also offer Dutch lessons for children & teenagers online!
Is your son or daugther between 4 and 17 years old? Do they find the Dutch language challenging at primary school? Do they need extra help with Dutch lessons in secondary school or do they just need some extra guidance? AvaLingua can help you.
Lessons are offered at the appropriate level and use various teaching methods, depending on the student’s goal. Depending on the number of enrollments, a group can be formed based on the level, goal and age group. We will also give homework depending on, if and how much you would like to do next to the classes.
You can choose private lessons or join a group of 4 students. Each lesson lasts 1 hour.
The level will be determined during an intake. As parents you can of course join during the intake. You can plan a free intake: plan it here.
The schedule
The small group courses are on Mondays from 16:00-17:00 or on Sundays from 10:00-11:00. A group course is 15 weeks. There will be a maximum of 4 students per group.
The exact dates on Mondays are: January 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th. February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th. March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st. April 7th, 14th.
The exact dates on Sunday are: January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th. February 2rd, 9th, 16th, 23rd. March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th. April 6th, 13th.
The student will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
*to start a small group course a minimum of 3 students is required.
Private lessons are also possible and can be scheduled during the week or weekend.
Location: Online using Zoom.
Costs: a group course of one class per week for 15 weeks: 299,-
AvaLingua offers different packages of private classes. The prices below are based on private classes for 1 student. It is also possible to take private classes with 2 or more students. This is ideal if the students would like to do a course together with for example with siblings, friends or classmates. If you're interested in private classes together, you could contact us and request a quotation.
Private classes:
- 10 hours: € 700,
- 15 hours: € 1005,
- 30 hours: €1950,-
Costs of study material: depending on what type of classes between € 0 50,-
You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
About our Teacher: Iris
Hi, I'm Iris, and I have been working in primary education for 7 years, both in the Netherlands and abroad. I really enjoy teaching students who speak a different native language. Together, we do not only learn a new language, but we also explore different cultures. I also love doing this myself alongside my work when I'm traveling. I enjoy traveling around the world to go kitesurfing at the most beautiful spots. Hopefully, we'll meet online soon!
